Two Songs

Two songs I haven't been able to get out of my head. The first has an amazing video someone made to go with the song. The second was the song played at the end of Twilight when Bella and Edward are dancing together at prom =]

Let Me Sign - Rob Pattinson

Flightless Bird/American Mouth - Iron & Wine

Jacobs Leaves

Tonight was possibly the last time I was able to hang out and see my Jacob Black. He is moving on Thursday back to his real home. He said he would come back and visit. He has lots of friends here. He promised he wouldn't forget me. I'm already struggling with the thought that my other wing will be gone. My own personal space heater, gone. The one that sings to me in the car, gone. The one that asks for little kisses on the cheek, gone. My secret friend in the team locker room, gone. The guy who wants me to go with him to get slurpees at 11pm, gone. My first kiss of the new year, gone. The one that got me into Twilight in the first place, gone.

The storm came in tonight. Supposed to rain for a week straight. I hope it does.

Could he be?....

So an interesting thing happened to me at work today. I had just pulled into the parking lot at work because I went to pick up our pizzas for lunch and I got out of my car and there was a guy riding his bike, wearing a hoodie, a beanie, and his backpack (coming from the gym a few buildings down). He rode past me and we smiled at each other, just being friendly, then he took a second look at me over his shoulder and turned around on his bike and started riding back to me. He smiled and shouted to me, asking me what my name was. I thought oh boy, some crazy guy wanting to hook up as he peddled back to me, but I also thought maybe he was going to ask about my work since we have been closed for inventory. Either way I told him my name, and I think I was giving him a skeptical look too. The next thing he said as he approached was something like "I couldn't resist your blue eyes, I have to at least come introduce myself." I wasn't thinking it at the moment, but I realize now I'm sure my face turned bright read in the noon sun.

He stopped in front of me and shook my hand, telling me his name and repeating mine. The next thing he noticed was my necklace, the New Moon one with Jacob's Quileute symbols. He asked what it was, and I just said it was a Twilight thing, if he'd ever seen the movies or read the books. He told me he was just on his way back to the gym because he left his own necklace there, he said it was hooks, but he said I'd have to see it to understand. He went on to say that he has been training because he wants to do some UFC stuff. He had originally planned on becoming a doctor but changed his mind because it would take too long and UFC paid more anyway.

On the inside I was wondering how many of my co-workers could see this, and secretly imagining them all lined up at the window, spying out at me haha. He kept repeating my name afterwards aloud to himself as if he was making sure he would remember it. I had to ask what his was again because it was a very unique name and I had never heard it before. I quickly examined this guy, taking in he was probably about 25, but looked a little older because of his scruffy beard and I thought he resembled Gerard Butler.

I told him I worked at this store we were in front of but that we were closed right now for inventory. He said he'd stop by sometime and look for me =]

His name was so unique though I had never heard it before, so when I got home I looked it up (spelling it the way it sounded, not sure of the exact spelling, either way there are a few variations that all mean the same thing). It turns out that his name is a form of Edmund, and his name means "the wealthy protector" and the name suggestions for brothers of [his name] included Emmett.

Now... here is where I explain the significance... As I have stated numerous times before, I feel like I'm living Bella's life in a little bit of an alternate universe. No real vampires, no real werewolves, etc. But, this is the even funnier part. The first time a guy has ever come up to me under his own will, out in public, that I've never seen before, and introduces himself to me, and his name is a form of Edmund, which is very similar to Edward like Bella's. The fact that his name means "wealthy protector" is ironic too because Bella's Edward is her protector and he is very wealthy. Emmett being a suggestion for a brother of [his name] also has its irony because Edward Cullen has a brother named Emmett. Tell me it's crazy that everything in my life now is becoming more and more like Twilight, it's insane!!

I hope he does come back into my work, we open tomorrow, so I can get a chance to talk to him a little bit more and find out how old he is. I'm going to take a guess he will disappear for about a week and then return. Like Edward did at the beginning of Twilight.

Baseball Thunder

There has been something stuck in my head today, all day. I thought I'd post it. It's a scene from the movie Twilight and it's when the Cullen's are playing baseball during the thunderstorm. I love the scene, I love the song. I can't help but dance to it in the car when I hear it. Plus might I add that Edward and Emmett are adorable in this scene, like when they chest bump and run into each other in midair and lightning bolts come out of them and they fall down laughing. Emmett is in the dark shirt and light baseball cap turned sideways, and Edward is in the button up striped baseball jersey (I only mention that because I'm not sure if Bloggingbrit knows who is who). Haha it's a great scene. Here's a clip to watch. Enjoy!!

My Edward and my Jacob

Interesting day today. I ended up going to play a little hockey today after work. I knew my Edward was there, he bought my sticker. But as I was walking to the door to step out onto the ice, I saw my Jacob right in front of me. "Ohhhhhh no," I thought to myself. I think I actually said "what the fuck?" to myself aloud. I knew this was going to be a fun 2 hours trapped on the ice with both boys. No doubt due to my intense interest in Twilight and New Moon lately I was having a lot of trouble keeping away from my Jacob while my Edward was there with me. But he was in the middle of a pickup half-ice and I didn't fit right in there... and Jacob was alone on the other end of the ice... So I went to Jacob.

He hadn't come to our game the other night when he said he would be there, so that gave me reason to talk to him and question him. He was being his usual unusual self. I took the puck from him a few times, tried to get him to pass with me or something but he likes working alone sort of. I tried to tell him about my goal, and when he told me he still wouldn't have scored it made me realize he's had a few assists and a lot of "almost" goals, but I don't think he has any more than I do. I wanted to straight up call him Jacob, or Jake. I know he would understand exactly what I was referring to. It was in fact him that got me into it in the first place.

I didn't really talk to him much after that. Edward had an eye out for him. And Jacob for Edward. But I must be honest that it really made my evening having Jacob there. I mean, I love Edward, but doing all this reading, and my previous posts have mentioned that right now I'm sort of living a life like Bella. I was talking to someone last night and they called me [Dewi]bell... Bloggingbrit knows my first name, so just add "bell" to the end of it. Being called that made me smile a little bit.

I've already decided I'm on my quest for my own Edward, my own Jacob. A mix of the two. I like Jacob's look, his strength, his happiness and his warmth. The warmth especially. I also love Edwards loving and nurturing personality. Both boys are protective, but the fact that Edward disappears and leaves and takes all remnants of his presence with him, that bothers me a lot. I would end up hurt and in pain exactly like Bella if he had done that to me, I wouldn't be able to deal with it. At least Jacob always comes back to apologize, and he keeps his promises to stay, and be her friend.

When I was stopping by the snack bar to say hello to a classmate I saw in there, Jacob was coming out the single door and I had to squeeze right by him. I didn't realize he was coming out until I was chest-to-chest with him in the door jamb. If I had seen him exiting beforehand I would have waited so I wouldn't run into him with Edward standing so close by.

During the drive home, I realized I was wearing my "lucky" necklace. So far every time I've worn it to the rink something ironic, or exciting, or just something that put a smile on my face for more than a brief second happened. Of course it is a Quileute, Jacob Black symbol, which I believe I'm leaning more towards in the first place.

I'm getting a little sad though, even though my life this past month has been like a Twilight and New Moon nightmare in a good way I guess, because I'm coming to the end of my New Moon book. I'm afraid to finish it because I won't be able to afford to buy the 3rd book, Eclipse, until Saturday at the earliest, unless I get a lot of cash for Christmas. I know I will definitely finish the book before then, and I want to finish the book, but I will have nothing to being on afterward. And reading these books is the only thing that is keeping me upbeat, and looking forward to things, anything, hoping to run across more coincidences, so reading it is great! And I can't wait to start on the next book. But if I finish too early, I won't have anything left to do and nothing to keep me smiling and dreaming, at least nothing to actually read and keep my mind off things.

I have been afraid to go to sleep lately, because I'm afraid of those horrid dreams I get occasionally about whatever guy I'm with. Like Bella, I wake up feeling sick, I'm surprised I don't scream at night. But ever since I started reading and find myself becoming more like Bella, and I look forward to my more frequent dreamless nights. I wake up, sure I had dreams, but I cannot remember a single thing I probably dreamt about, and it feels good. Of course I'd love to dream pleasant things about Jacob, mine or the Quileute it doesn't matter, as long as it leaves me feeling good and smiling when I wake up. As for now, I'm enjoying my dreamless nights. I know what Bloggingbrit feels like now. And just so you know Brit, take advantage of your dreamless nights because you never know when you will begin to dream those nightmares.

Bottom line... I can't wait for the new semester to start. It's a new start, in new classes, with new people. It all starts in January, like Bella's new start in Forks.

GOOOAAAALLLLL!!!!!!!!!

I scored my first goal tonight at my game!! It was exciting, it always is against this team. I got dog-piled on, trying to score in the second period. The other team had no goalie so they had a 6th player on the ice sorta acting like a goalie. The other guy also had my stick under his arm, holding me and I couldn't get free. The ref was yelling at the other guys to get the puck out because he was trying to cover it. Then he got a penalty for Delay of Game haha.

When I scored I was against the player-goalie, so it wasn't a real goal but it's in the records that I scored. At the end of the game, a goalie suddenly appeared in their end and I had a few scoring chances then. I had a lot during the game and everyone was trying to pass me the puck so I could score more. At least there is 1 for me in the records though. And it's funny because the pass I got it from, the assist, goes to my other half, my big brother, the next guy down. Bloggingbrit might be able to figure it out. He's the one I look up to so much. It's because of him that I am still playing hockey today. And what's funny, I scored from an assist from him, using his stick he gave to me. I had quite an audience too, my classmate, my co-worker and her son and mother, and my boyfriend, as well as our mutual friend and his wife, and I think he actually got my goal on video, because he was videoing his team (the one we were against) for lots of the game.

I also bought a necklace today that I have now deemed my lucky necklace. I don't really believe in luck, I think it's more of irony and coincidences that I believe in. It's a Twilight Saga: New Moon necklace from Nordstroms, made especially for "bp. at Nordstroms." I'm not entirely sure what "bp." stands for but whatever. It's Jacob's wolfpack tattoo medallion, with a few other charms, like a moon and a heart. But I wore it today and it was the best game I've played, aside from not being able to stop with my left foot (my dominant foot) because my skates were too sharp. Anyway, if you want to take a look or order it, here's a link.

My Twilight Jacket (Bella's Jacket)

I love my new jacket. The one I stayed up till 2 in the morning yesterday researching, I went out and surprisingly found it in large quantities (compared to my expectation of 0) in two stores at my mall!! I was so excited. One of the stores has some other things related to my jacket, will the other has other things but also related as well.
The BB Dakota Twilight Jacket is what I wanted and found. It's the jacket that Bella wore in the Twilight movie which I have become very intrigued with, the whole Twilight Saga. http://www.tillys.com/tillys/variants.aspx?prod=158810200&ctlg=020_Girls&cid=1066&source=1&size=

Here is it on me. It's definitely worth the $65 because it has fleece lining the inside of the canvas shell, and silk lining the sleeves. It's wonderfully warm and comfy.

Elf!!

All I want to do is watch Elf on USA but the WWE Live or whatever it is is on still!! This wrestling is so fake it's annoying to watch, they aren't even breaking a sweat... Oh good, that one guy just won so it should be over, but I will probably miss the first 5 minutes of Elf because this show went over its time slot so they will just skip ahead to the regularly scheduled program.

Oh yay, they aren't skipping ahead haha. So I'm not sure what to write but I couldn't stand looking at my last post because I miss the Matty Bear.

I got to chat to Bloggingbrit today which was very nice, he kept my mind occupied. He also told me about the winner of X Factor (American Idol basically in the US). When I watched the video of the kids winning song, the first thing I said was 'he's a cutie' haha. His name is Joe-somethingarather, I can't remember his last name. So now Bloggingbrit thinks I'm drooling over this guy because I looked him up on Wikipedia (even though I don't remember his name!!), and because I said he reminds me of Jacob Black from New Moon hehe. So then I ended up spending the rest of my time I had at home looking up pictures of Jacob Black. I'd love to live in the Twilight world, I think I'd rather deal with what Bella's going through than my own life. A little trade for a while might be fun. I'm going to say right now though that I'm for Team Jacob, though I can see why people are for Team Edward.

Enough of that. My toes are cold, I should probably get under some covers. I know everything is alright now between me and the boyfriend, but I'm still really shaken up, Bloggingbrit understands why a little bit. I'm hoping for no bad dreams tonight. I'd love to sleep like Bloggingbrit... dreamless.

Alright, Elf is finally on, and I'm changing to Christmas Vacation at 12:30. Hahaha wait, I gotta post this clip. It's one of the many funny moments in the movie, but this is definitely one I think everyone has dealt with when they were kids, or maybe even now!! Jack-In-The-Boxes...

Too much on my mind

it looks as though Bloggingbrit has been doing more posting lately. And I noticed the new Google search bar and the thing to follow the blog I think maybe he added... to make money -_-

And he might want to say it but too bad I'm going to say he's got a few days or temporary work I guess.. which is better than nothing. I really thought things were going to be good with that whole job interview thing. I'd hire him!! He knows that =]

And for the Google Wave or whatever it is, yeah I signed up with Bloggingbrit but it's confusing for me to use. It's confusing and the way things have been going in my life right now it's really best not to mess with my head when I can't even think straight as it is without trying to learn new programs. I've become so clumsy it's scary. And the sad thing is I'm beginning to feel like Bella... from Twilight... except I'm not being pulled towards the werewolf or the vampire. I'm being pulled between two Marine hockey players that resemble the vampire and the werewolf. I've already leaked too much information. Time to watch the encore presentation of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation... again.

Team Jacob

Jacob Black. That's my team. I'm turning into a Twilight nerd!! I've read the first book now in preparation for seeing the second movie. I could have just watched the first movie as we have it at home but the movies are never the same. So now I'm going to read New Moon (after seeing the movie haha) and I've found it's really addictive.

I used to chuckle at the people who were so obsessed with all the Twilight stuff but I've found the first book is actually really really good and as I mentioned, addicting. I have another reason why I happen to find myself drifting towards the whole scene because I'm close with someone who happens to resemble the character Jacob Black fairly closely, which I really can't complain about. Also, might I add that Robert Pattinson is not very attractive at all, and I really don't like something about Edward Cullen and his here-again gone-again moods. He's cold to the touch, Jacob is always warm and running a certain kind of fever.

Anyway it turns out tomorrow is Black Friday (haha, ironic.. you'll see why) and I plan on going to the mall and stopping by Hot Topic because I know they always have merchandise from the latest hit movies and Twilight especially so I'm going to buy myself a Jacob Black (on Black Friday!! hehe) poster. And maybe if they got a decent size wallet too, because I've been meaning to get a knew one. Ooh and I get paid tomorrow.

Speaking of paychecks and work, I've got to work all weekend, I have shitty hours, and I don't have time really to spend with anyone even if I wanted to. I'd rather work early in the morning, instead of the afternoon to closing, because when u work closing you can't really do much during your day. So lame!!
