Pitch-Off

In response to Bloggingbrits response to me, I present you with Anthony Sullivan. I enjoy following him on Twitter here because he is quite entertaining and I play his little contests he has late at night. And he posts amusing pictures too. Anyway, he worked alongside Billy Mays and when I saw him crying on the Pitchman special I couldn't help but burst into tears myself. So, I present you Anthony Sullivan and the Grater Plater (featured on an episode of Pitchmen)

A Tribute to Billy Mays

I have planned on watching the Billy Mays tribute... it's labelled as Pitchmen... and within the first 3 minutes I already started crying. This is going to be a long hour. I still can't believe he is gone, it's not soaking in. I see his products in stores, including the one I work in, and I still see all his commercials, and it makes me really sad to think there won't be any more products endorsed by Billy Mays.

I also keep getting Twitter messages on my phone from Billy's business partner and good friend as well as fellow pitchman Anthony Sullivan, and he is still sad about it. I sometimes with I could join him on the dock and think about him. I don't know why I feel like this, I just know I liked his show and I can't believe he is gone. He had a family, a great job, and was genuinely a good person. He went too young.

Uhhhhh

Gah!! The stupid boys outside I banging around a scooter trying to break it into pieces and it's really obnoxious. They are really destructive. And I'm a little annoyed. It's 9:30 at night, no one should be making that much noise.... and why are they doing it right in front of my house?! Ugh... Perhaps my irritability is a good sign?

I'm watching the Discovery Channel, they are having a Pitchmen marathon and the season finale here at 10.

I am officially hired, I worked today 9am to 4:30pm and I go in tomorrow at 8am until 4:30pm but will more than likely leave a lot earlier.

My friend is coming up for the 4th of July on Saturday. It should be interesting especially with my nosey aunt being around. I also have a figure skating class tomorrow, which should be interesting especially for a hockey player... toe-pick!! If my friend goes he is going to maybe take some pictures, haha Bloggingbrit will have a good laugh at them if it happens. I just know I'm going to eat crap. Hmph. At least it's only a 30 minute lesson... and it's free!! We'll see what happens.

So I'm writing this post because I'm bored. I tried knitting, but for some reason after counting all day and forgetting how to make ribbing, I gave up because my purl stitches were just being retarded.

I ate 3 breadsticks and a half of a chicken for dinner. And I'm still hungry. I am also running out of things to write, and I know Bloggingbrit won't be up before I go to bed. And perhaps I may not even talk to him tomorrow, I should though, I mean when I get home from work and before I leave for the skating class... ok, well I'm not feeling too well now. I guess I will finish up with this and lay down, I feel yucky.... ughhhhh

I miss you Bloggingbrit!!

Billy Mays of Oxiclean and Pitchmen is Dead

Breaking News, Billy Mays, from my show Pitchmen, and who does all the "As Seen On TV" things, is now dead. Why is everyone dying?! I didn't believe it when my dad called, and he was laughing about it. Finally this is someone who I can really really appreciate. Yeah Michael Jackson was the King of Pop, but he was also strange. I loved watching Billy Mays show and seeing him on TV and now he's gone, I don't know what to feel. Who is next? Mike Rowe? The Mythbusters? I sure hope not. Now I'm just really pissed off, why is all of Hollywood dying? Here is the article from ABC7 one of my local news stations based out of LA

http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/national_world&id=6888192

It's sad too because I recieved his last Twitter yesterday on my phone. I'm gonna save it. Don't let me delete it.

Hmmmm

Yet another date with the Discovery Channel tonight... Wednesdays are awesome and will be cooler once One Way Out comes back on!! Grrrr it's been forever. But I've got Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, Time Warp, Mythbusters, and Pitchmen.

I also decided I want to organize my Favorites... it's overwhelming when I see all 28 sites and 7 Folders... I'm gonna make an 8th one and put all my hockey links in there, that will clear up A LOT of room.

Tomorrow there are no excuses for going to Islands to check on my job app. Even though they aren't hiring my mom is hounding me to go bribe the manager. Embarrassing. And I think this evening, maybe after I blog here, I will go to the other place that IS hiring and ask if they've looked over my application yet. But I look like crap... meh, I'll do it tomorrow haha.

I spent a nice afternoon with Bloggingbrit (I know you, the reader, can't tell, but I always put a space between Blogging and brit and then I have to go back and delete it). I also bit down on a piece (or is it a grain?) of black pepper that was on the steak for seasoning, and you know when you bite one in half it burns your tongue for hours... **sigh**

Summertime

Summer has finally started for me, Finals are done and it's tanning time, starting (sometime) tomorrow. Reggie Willits played tonight, got an RBI (run batted in) and a single (made it to 1st base for those who don't follow baseball). In case you didn't know, Reggie Willits is my all-time favorite Angel player. I got a personalized autographed baseball from him. My grandma's friend works on the field as a field usher or something, so he knows all the players. I'll take a pic of the ball and upload it in a bit.

Lake Elsinore Storm autographed baseball from years ago. I was probably 5 or 6 years old. Lake Elsinore is less than 30 miles from my house.

My Erstad ball, he retired...

Reggie Willits signed this for me ... yeah i blurred out my name

Another thing, June is right around the corner and Andrew says that Angels/Dodgers games are always popular. I texted him earlier and we decided we would both look for good seats and compromise on tickets. Still not sure if he's buying, or if we are buying our own tickets. Shoot, he has 3 cool jobs, I'm sure he's got a lot of money!!

Lastly, I'd just like to make a note that it is Wednesday (in Cali, in UK it's Thursday!!). And you know what Wednesdays mean for me? Discovery Date Night. 8pm Time Warp, 9pm ♥Mythbusters♥ , and 10pm Pitchmen with Billy Mayes and Anthony Sullivan. Pitchmen sounds dumb maybe to some of you, but honestly, it's very interesting as well as entertaining. I like Sully better than Billy, not because he's British, but because he's not as loud and obnoxious as Billy.
